Hi, I’m Adhis Sopa!
I’ve spent 10+ years creating marketing experiences with global brands from the UK, USA and Australia.
Specializing in brand positioning, content strategy and social distribution, my work spans omnichannel touchpoints, from e-commerce, social media, email marketing, influencer programs to event activations and corporate partnerships.
My Story
-
I was born and raised in Jakarta and currently living in Bali. Back then, I studied Mass Communication and graduated cum laude with a Diploma in Broadcast Journalism, followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology; both from University of Indonesia. I started in media as a News Reporter intern at RCTI, followed by a role as a Radio Announcer & Producer at MNC Network, two of the largest media networks in Indonesia.
Then, I moved to Bali after getting married and have been enjoying island life ever since. I joined Quiksilver’s Southeast Asia HQ, and that’s where my career naturally shifted into marketing. Since then, I’ve found myself really enjoying the world of brand communications and have built portfolios around it. Most recently, I was Marketing Manager at 69 Slam, where I led marketing strategy across 40+ retail locations worldwide, including France, Spain, Russia, South Korea, Japan, and Dubai.

On paper, consumer tech, fashion retail, and F&B hospitality might look like three different industries, but to me, they were all about translating global frameworks into local activations. Humanizing the brand to specific personas and cohorts.
Consumer tech startups like Gridserve UK and Gojek Indonesia were right in the middle of agile product-market fit, constantly scaling go-to-market strategies to hit Monthly Active User OKRs. Giant retailers like Quiksilver, Oakley, Deus Ex Machina, and 69 Slam navigated the global expansion of vertical stores alongside the rapid growth of their e-commerce. A big part of the challenge was often East-meets-West brand campaigns. And 8 Degree Projects leveraged their venues (Sisterfields, Bo$$man, Bikini, Sibling, Fika, Holi, and at one point Revolver Coffee) as living characters. Branding was taken seriously by Sydney-based agency 21-19 to shape how each one came to life.
All of these revolved around Bali as a melting pot of visions. I was constantly around travelers, creatives, and brands from different parts of the world, and these experiences made me highly adaptable to founders, C-executives, and directors, as well as corporate partners and local communities with their many layers.
